Daniel Lindsay is an Associate Director in our London office. Daniel has over ten years' experience in economic development and housing economics, covering economic analysis and impact assessments, economic masterplanning, appraisal and evaluation, labour market analysis and sector studies. He is also experienced at understanding the relationship between labour markets, community and strategic infrastructure and local economic growth having led a range of infrastructure assessment frameworks for local authorities and combined planning authorities. Daniel is also an experienced project manager and has led a number of complex multidisciplinary studies drawing on a range of specialist inputs including transport planning, urban design, cost consultancy and property market analysis.
Recent examples of Daniel's work include an assessment of the impact of Crossrail 2 on unlocking housing and employment growth across London for TfL, a series of Local Growth Fund Business Case appraisals for Solent, C2C and EM3 LEPs, and an economic impact assessment of local masterplan options to inform final scheme design in Derry~Londonderry.
Daniel also has a strong track record in regional and sub-regional economic planning. His economic analysis informed the development of the UK's first Economic Masterplan for Sheffield and the Olympic Legacy Strategic Regeneration Framework. Daniel has also led on the economic and labour market components of a number of international city level Structure Plans and Masterplans including the Jeddah Structure Plan and Jazan Economic City Masterplan.
