Kirsten Hedland is a Director in our Manchester office. She has worked in economic development for 14 years and is a long standing member of the ekosgen team.
Kirsten has an extensive track record of working on European Structural Funds assignments. She recently prepared the Cheshire and Warrington European Structural and Investment Funds Strategy, engaging a wide range of stakeholders to prepare a locally responsive and widely supported document. She has a strong track record of preparing successful funding applications (e.g. National Graphene Institute and Second City Crossing enhancements) and providing technical support around the funds (e.g. Belfast City Council technical support and Yorkshire Universities good practice guide).
She also works on the company’s wider strategy development, impact assessment and evaluation commissions, for example current commissions include preparing a resourcing plan for Manchester Place, assessing the employment potential of port development for Sefton and evaluating broadband business support programmes across the UK.
Kirsten is one of the company’s most experienced project managers. She manages many of the company’s major commissions, providing the primary point of client team contact and organising consultant team resources to ensure commissions are delivered on time and to high quality standards.
